When Is a Home Considered a Deep Clean?

A home may be considered a Deep Cleaning when:

• The home has not had a professional housecleaning within the past six months
• The home has not been consistently maintained by the homeowner or occupants
• Dust, grease, soap scum, hard water deposits, pet hair, or other buildup has accumulated
• Kitchens or bathrooms require additional scrubbing and detailing
• Baseboards, doors, trim, fixtures, flooring, or other surfaces have significant buildup
• The home is new construction or has recently undergone renovation
• The home requires more time and detailing than a routine maintenance cleaning

If a home has been consistently cleaned and maintained and does not have significant buildup, it may qualify for Routine or Recurring Cleaning instead.

What Does a Residential Deep Clean Consist Of?

A Deep Cleaning is performed from top to bottom, with additional time spent on buildup, detailed surfaces, corners, edges, fixtures, and areas commonly overlooked during routine housekeeping.

• Degreasing accessible exterior surfaces

Minor surface mildew may be cleaned when it can be safely addressed; however, complete removal of mildew, staining, or discoloration cannot be guaranteed. Heavy mold growth or conditions requiring remediation are outside the scope of routine residential cleaning.
