About Halo Hashiado
“My upbringing provided a unique foundation that extended well beyond housekeeping.”
Where It All Started
Halo Hashiado was raised in the Willamette Valley in a 5,000-square-foot home, where I learned at an early age the importance of maintaining a clean, structured, organized, and well-cared-for environment.

My father was an engineer who designed, built, remodeled, and restored homes. Working alongside him introduced me to construction, property maintenance, organization, land management, and the importance of completing work methodically and safely.
My mother taught me the other side of maintaining a home. Through structured cleaning routines, laundry, dishes, organization, and everyday household responsibilities, I learned the consistency and attention to detail required to keep a busy home running smoothly.
Together, those experiences taught me planning, organization, problem-solving, efficiency, safety, patience, and attention to detail—skills that continue to influence the way I approach cleaning today.
When Cleanliness Became Personal
My understanding of cleanliness became much more personal when I became a mother.
My daughter was born with a compromised immune system and required ongoing medical treatment throughout her childhood. She was also highly sensitive to environmental concerns, including black mold.
Maintaining an exceptionally clean and sanitary home became an important part of our everyday life. I developed disciplined routines to help reduce exposure to dust, allergens, mold, germs, and other environmental contaminants.
That experience permanently changed how I viewed cleaning.
A clean home wasn’t simply about appearance. It was about creating a space where the people I loved could feel comfortable, cared for, and protected.
Those standards have stayed with me throughout my life and professional career.
Caring for Children Strengthened My Standards
I later owned and operated a daycare, where cleanliness, organization, and sanitation were essential.
Maintaining children’s spaces, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, following daily cleaning routines, and helping reduce the spread of everyday illnesses reinforced the importance of consistency, observation, sanitation, and attention to detail.
It also strengthened something I had already learned as a mother: when someone trusts you with a space that matters to them, that responsibility should never be taken lightly.
Pet-Friendly Experience
As a lifelong pet owner, I understand that animals are part of the family.
I also understand the cleaning challenges that come with them—pet hair, dander, odors, muddy paws, tracked-in dirt, and everyday pet messes.

My approach is to balance cleanliness, sanitation, and attention to detail with compassion and respect for the animals living in the home.
A Trained Eye for the Home
Growing up around construction and property maintenance gave me an awareness of the overall condition of a home—not just whether a surface looks clean.

While cleaning, I may notice visible concerns such as water staining, deteriorating caulking, loose fixtures, unusual moisture, ventilation concerns, or other conditions a homeowner may want to investigate.
I am not a licensed home inspector, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, or contractor, and I do not diagnose these conditions. However, if I notice something unusual, I believe in communicating the observation so the homeowner can determine whether an appropriate professional should evaluate it.

Cleaning Is How My Mind Works
Cleaning has always brought me a genuine sense of peace.
I naturally think in systems, structure, organization, and sequences. I approach a cleaning project much like putting together a puzzle—or playing Tetris.
I assess the space, determine an efficient order, and work methodically from one area to the next until everything comes together.

For me, professional cleaning combines:
Experience • Planning • Organization • Efficiency • Problem-Solving • Attention to Detail • Genuine Care
After 28 years of hands-on cleaning experience, I still enjoy stepping back at the end of a project and seeing the transformation.
Why I Still Love What I Do
A home is personal.
It is where people raise their families, care for their pets, prepare meals, recover after difficult days, celebrate milestones, work, rest, and create memories.
Being invited into someone’s home requires trust, and I respect that responsibility.
My experiences—from the home and land where I grew up, to motherhood, childcare, property care, and decades of professional cleaning—have shaped the way I approach every space:
“With observation, organization, patience, respect, attention to detail, and care.“
Life Outside of Cleaning
Outside of work, I enjoy the Pacific Northwest and spending time outdoors.

Paddleboarding, biking, hiking, fishing, camping, dancing, plants, learning new skills, or exploring the Columbia River Gorge, foraging, reading, spontaneous drives, and stargazing allow me to slow down and appreciate the environment around me.
I also enjoy maintaining an organized home and preparing my own vegetarian meals with fresh, whole ingredients.
For me, cleanliness, organization, healthy living, nature, and self-sufficiency are interconnected values that influence both how I live and how I approach my work.
